What is VolleyPro?
The VolleyPro Academy operates as a division of the Manawatū Volleyball Club (MVC).
MVC is an incorporated society, with the constitutional purpose to support New Zealand volleyball athletes to reach their international and professional opportunities.
The VolleyPro Academy is enabled through a partnership with Massey University and the Massey Academy of Sport, and is in conversations to achieve formal endorsement from Volleyball New Zealand.
Technical governance
The VolleyPro Academy is designed to prepare athletes to succeed within New Zealand junior and senior national volleyball teams, and professional European leagues, beginning with the Swedish Elitseries.
For this reason, the technical direction of the Academy is overseen by a number of expert technical advisors, shown below.
These advisors help to ensure that athletes graduating from the Academy are ready to succeed at professional and international level.
